Absolutely. I’d make it clear that she is available, but her pricing is higher because she was originally intended to stay with you: This little girl was originally going to be held back for my own Persian breeding program. I absolutely love how she is developing and truly would not mind keeping her, but I already have several young females that I am growing out, so I decided to make her available to the right home. Because she was originally intended to be one of my personal holdbacks, she will not be placed at my normal Persian pricing. I do have other Persian kittens available at my regular rates, which are generally $850–$900 as pets without papers, $1,000 with CFA pet registration, or $1,800 with CFA breeding rights, depending on the kitten. For this particular girl, I am asking $1,100 as a pet without papers, $1,250 with her CFA pet registration, or $2,200 with CFA breeding rights. I am a little on the fence about letting her go, so I wanted to price her at an amount where I would be comfortable either way—if the right family chooses her, wonderful, and if not, I will happily continue growing her out here for my program. She will come vet checked, with her first vaccinations, routinely dewormed, and with a nice goodie bag full of startup items to help make her transition into her new home easier. She is going to be such a beautiful girl, and I want to make sure she finds a wonderful home if I do decide to let her leave.
