Luna (Mom), Twyla (White) & Stevie. Along with their medical records, we will also provide a litter box, their linens, some toys and food to get you started!
PLEASE READ - ADOPTING AS A TRIO ONLY. Meet the sweetest little cat family this side of Candler! Luna (Momma) and her sweet little female kittens: Twyla and Stevie. Stevie & Twyla are from the same litter but Twyla likely has a different catty daddy (which is possible and very common if you didn’t know!).
They are quiet, sweet, fascinated with people and love to roll around, wrestle and play together! They’ve been living in my bathroom since February while they finished weening and recovered from being spayed. They are about 4 months old. While in our care we have been socializing and litter training while preparing to find them a forever home. ABOUT THE LADIES: LUNA (Momma) is quiet and reserved. She had started coming around about 2 years ago, and has had multiple litters for whom we've found homes. Despite our best efforts to catch her, she escaped a trap twice! Fortunately this time we were able to avoid that! While shy, she has come to appreciate the indoor life and loves laying on her cat tower and playing with her little girls. She has an extra special relationship with Twyla, and they often sit and spend time with each other.
TWYLA is pretty. Very pretty. The camera loves her and she knows it. She dreams of being a Cat-fluencer. While they are ALL outgoing in their own ways, Twyla may be one of the shyest… or maybe smartest! She likes to observe what happens when her sisters do something first, then she jumps right in! She is treat motivated, so luring her out with some of her favorites can be helpful. She is ok with being held, even if a little timid. She has a fun personality and loves to play and pose for photos!
STEVIE is the smallest, but probably has the biggest personality! She was the first one to break out from the others and be interested in making contact with people, and she is the first one to get over her shyness for food and treats. She does well being held, and though a little squirmy at first she will settle in for a bit and let you pet her. When you try to pick her up she’ll give you her meanest hiss, but it’s more comical than scary! She loves wrestling and chasing her sisters around, especially Twyla. While Twyla & Stevie both love their other sisters, they have an extra special bond and often choose each other as playmates while Momma watches adoringly.
ADOPTION PLAN:
We would like to find them loving homes where they can stay with at least one loving, bonded family member with whom they can continue to play, grow and have wonderful, big lives. We are more concerned about having the right homes for them than getting them adopted fast. We are also prioritizing homes that promise to keep them INSIDE. There are too many dangers outside, and cats should not be left to roam and possibly get hit by cars, attacked by coyotes, etc.
They are spayed and have their rabies vaccine, but NOT chipped.
$75 rehoming fee per cat to help cover the cost of the spaying, care, etc. For the right candidate however, this can be negotiated.
Info about their breed: Russian Blues are an intelligent cat breed known for its short, dense, silvery-blue coat, bright green eyes, and calm, loyal, yet reserved temperament, often called "Archangel Cats" due to their likely origin in Arkhangelsk, Russia. They are quiet, clean, and well-suited for apartment living, forming strong bonds with their families but often being shy with strangers. Russian blues are known for being very clean and rarely shedding, so no need to worry about cat hair being everywhere! Full grown they can weigh up to 10-11lbs, so at their current weight of about 4-5lbs they have a little growing to do but not much if they are like their momma, who is fully grown at 9.2 lbs.
