Ruby & Poppy. Along with their medical records, we will also provide a litter box, their linens, some toys and food to get you started!
POPPY's Cat-titude is little miss cool. She also loves playing and wrestling with her sisters, but also really enjoys laying low and sleeping on the highest point of the kitty tower, usually with Ruby. She’s an excellent climber and likes to show off her gymnastic abilities, running up and down her cat tree with the ease of a squirrel. She just discovered Momma's favorite place, the window in the top of the shower overlooking the whole yard, much to Momma's disapproval!
RUBY is an active little one who loves wrestling and trying to also find the highest possible vantage points. She loves treats, especially the cat squeeze packets.. I call them cat Go-Gurt, and will playfully knock away any sisters that try and get a lick of the packet while she’s enjoying it. Competitive and energetic, though never opposed to a cuddly nap with her favorite sister Poppy.
They are both from the same litter, and are also from the same litter as the other 2 cats I have posted for adoption with the same mom.
ADOPTION PLAN:
We are adopting Ruby and Poppy as a PAIR ONLY. I will not split them up. We would like to find them loving homes where they can stay with at least one loving, bonded family member with whom they can continue to play, grow and have wonderful, big lives. We are more concerned about having the right homes for them than getting them adopted fast. We are also prioritizing homes that promise to keep them INSIDE. There are too many dangers outside, and cats should not be left to roam and possibly get hit by cars, attacked by coyotes, etc. They are spayed and have their rabies vaccine, but NOT chipped. $75 rehoming fee per cat to help cover the cost of the spaying, care, etc. For the right candidate however, this can be negotiated. Info about their breed: Russian Blues are an intelligent cat breed known for its short, dense, silvery-blue coat, bright green eyes, and calm, loyal, yet reserved temperament, often called "Archangel Cats" due to their likely origin in Arkhangelsk, Russia. They are quiet, clean, and well-suited for apartment living, forming strong bonds with their families but often being shy with strangers. Russian blues are known for being very clean and rarely shedding, so no need to worry about cat hair being everywhere! Full grown they can weigh up to 10-11lbs, so at their current weight of about 4-5lbs they have a little growing to do but not much if they are like their momma, who is fully grown at 9.2 lbs.
