Beautiful, Gentle Persian Seeking a Quiet Forever Home I am searching for a very special home for a beautiful adult Persian girl. This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, so finding the right person is far more important than finding a home quickly. She would thrive in a quiet, predictable home with a patient person or couple. An older adult home would be ideal. She would also do best as an only cat, where she can enjoy all of the love and attention without the stress of competing with other pets. She has a heartbreaking past. I rescued her after her previous owner passed away, and she experienced significant trauma before coming into my care. Because of that, she is naturally timid with strangers and will usually hide at first. She needs someone who understands that trust takes time. Once she feels safe, she becomes an incredibly affectionate, gentle, loving companion who enjoys being close to her person. She is not a cat who will walk into a new home and immediately act as though she’s lived there forever. She deserves someone who understands that the most rewarding relationships are sometimes the ones that take a little patience. I am looking for someone who will love her for the rest of her life—not someone looking for an instant, outgoing cat. If you have a calm home, a kind heart, and the patience to let her settle in at her own pace, I truly believe she will reward you with unwavering devotion. Please tell me about yourself, your home, any other pets, and why you feel you would be a good match for her. Finding the perfect home is my priority - I am not in a rush to place her, but I feel she would be much happier being the only cat and I feel I must do what’s right for her. She used to enjoy playing with the babies (kittens) from my other girl, but now I think she’s telling me a quieter life is what she would prefer.
