She is tested and cleared for FeLV, FIV, heartworms, and PKD. We have not gotten her tested for HCM as we did not intend to breed her after considering everything. She is available to a good home - please send us an email describing your home, lifestyle, and whether you're able to put in the work to provide this girl a good home.
Gracie is a Blue Tortie/Blue Cream British Shorthair. She was born on 03/30/22 and has copper eyes. She was brought into our cattery a few months ago, but we weren't aware of her temperament. She appears to be wary of new people and takes a while to trust. Unfortunately she doesn't seem to adjust well to the constant changes in our home and I'm afraid it'll stress her out in the long run as we're constantly having guests and other animals coming in and out of our home.
Gracie keeps to herself and requires a home with a lot of patience and understanding. She is shy, timid, and not easily trusting so it'll take some work to bond with her. We tried to work with her as best we can and she definitely opened her heart to us and realized we're not there to hurt her, but this took about a month of time and consistency.
We learned she loves food and doesn't mind being brushed. She is not a fan of nail clippings or baths. She is such a sweet girl once she trusts you, while she doesn't come for cuddles, she rubs up against us when she's feeling lovey. She does okay with other cats, she doesn't like dogs very much.
