Making this decision has not been easy for us. Quincy has been a cherished part of our family and an exceptional mother, raising her kittens with more love, patience, and devotion than we could have ever hoped for. As she retires from our breeding program, our greatest wish is to find her a home where she can enjoy a peaceful, happy life and receive all the love she deserves. Quincy gets along beautifully with other cats and has a very gentle, sweet nature. She is, however, a sensitive and shy girl with people, especially those she does not know. Because of this, she will need time to adjust to a new environment and build trust with her new family. We are looking for someone patient, kind, and understanding—someone who will allow her to settle in at her own pace without expectations or pressure. Her ideal home would be a calm, quiet household where she can be the center of attention, preferably as the only cat or with just one other gentle feline companion. Once Quincy feels safe and comfortable, her wonderful personality begins to shine. She enjoys affection on her own terms, is naturally curious, and loves keeping an eye on what her people are doing. She is playful, entertaining to watch, and the kind of companion whose trust feels truly special once it has been earned. We simply ask that anyone considering Quincy understands her sensitive nature and is prepared to give her the time and space she needs to blossom.
