Poot is truly something very special. He is black and white, with some of the most unique markings on his cute little face, and is also Dominant Blue/Odd- Eyed (one eye is blue and the other is green). Edmond, Poot's dad, is our dominant blue, odd eyed, English Muffin King. Poot's mom is Poppy and she is a silver shaded English Muffin, and is one of the sweetest cats I've ever had.
Poot is DNA tested by Optimal Selection, as are his parents. Please visit our website to see more information about Poot and his parents Edmond and Poppy.
Please check out Poot and the other kittens we have available at www.nvraincats.com and go to the available kittens page. Edmond is a handsome, nearly solid black, standard munchkin fellow (other than his white chin and a small white patch on his chest). All DBE cats have to have at least a small amount of white on them somewhere as the dominant blue eyed gene is a white spotting gene. Edmond is a dominant blue-eyed, odd-eyed, extremely rare king. Edmond carries cinnamon and long hair, which means that he can father black long and short haired kittens, cinnamon long and shorthaired kittens and chocolate long and shorthaired kittens. His kittens can also be mitted and/or tortie or torbie, depending on which queen we cross him with. Most blue eyed cats are colorpoints, but Dominant Blue Eyed (DBE) cats can be solid colored yet still have blue or odd eyes. I'm especially excited about Edmond's kittens because those blue or odd eyes really stand out on dark colored cats, like blacks, chocolates, and cinnamons. Edmond has fathered several litters and he has kittens on the way now.
