We raise them as part of our family. We have two different females we breed and one male. One of our daughters and son are on the spectrum so we started homeschooling years ago. So when we started breeding 3 years ago we thought it made a great project but it turned into so much more. Our son really enjoys it and he’s proud of how the kittens turn out. Then about a year and a half ago my husband went into the hospital for toe surgery and got necrotizing fasciitis and had to have his leg amputated, so we decided to keep doing it and got one more female to help get through this new chapter in our lives. We handle the kittens from the day they are born and put a lot of time into making them trust and bond to people. They are pure bred kittens but we don’t do the papers. Our oldest daughter is a veterinarian so she helps us know what the best food and vitamins are to keep them as healthy as possible.
