My name is Sarah McCarty and along with Eric Abbott and Mandy Segelstrom, we run a small TICA, CFA and Rare Exotic Feline Registered cattery located in central Minnesota. At Sarec's Cattery, we want to raise the healthiest, most beautiful kittens in order to provide you with a precious feline companion you will have for many years. Our cats and kittens are humanely treated, well socialized, and part of our family. We breed Sphynx, Minuet, Kinkalow, and Persians for both health, quality and personality. Breeding parents will have the following tests completed before being bred to ensure healthy kittens: 1. HCM echocardiogram by a board-certified cardiologist annually (Sphynx breed). 2. HCM DNA Genetic Test by NC State Veterinary Genetics Lab (Sphynx breed). 3. DNA testing for genetic diseases through Optimal Selection (all breeds). 4. FIV/FeLV tested (all breeds). 5. PKD DNA Genetic Test (polycystic kidney disease) (Persian breed). Our breeding program consists of many different colors and patterns which include, but not limited to, calico, dilute calico, red harlequin, silver shaded, black- amber smoke, and cream tabby.
