Welcome to Empire Hybrid Cats. A TICA registered cattery located upstate New York, tucked away in the foothills of the Catskills Mountains. We are a proud member of The Savannah Cat Association. We breed exotic hybrids, specifically, Caracats, Savannahs and Abycoons. The Caracat is a rare (200 cats worldwide) cross between a caracal (“desert lynx”) and a domestic cat. They have a distinctive look of a mini cougar. We are one of the two participating catteries in the entire United States. Savannahs cats are already widely known. They sport a slender silhouette, vivid spots, and a cheetah look, which they inherited after their wild ancestor, an African serval. The Abycoon cat breed is an exciting and innovative hybrid that combines the distinctive traits of the Abyssinian cat and the Maine Coon. As a relatively new breed, the Abycoon is currently pending registration by the International Cat Association (TICA) and is currently under review by the Genetics Committee. This unique combination of two popular cat breeds brings together the best qualities of both parent breeds, resulting in a stunning and captivating feline companion. Our mission is to create best of the best, for both beauty and temperament for our cats. Great lineage, vivid spots, jaw dropping looks combined with sweet, social disposition. The owner, Sofia Vallette had scouted the United States and Europe as far as Siberia, to bring the best examples of these cats into our breeding program. We share our home with these amazing cats. Our cattery is small enough to allow the most individual time for every kitten creating exceptional personalities. We are in love with these unique breeds and our goal is to spread the joy of Savannah and Caracat ownership, and to educate about these breeds through our cats & kittens. We put our hearts into our cattery, and we can guarantee that each and every one of our kittens will come to you well socialized; litterbox trained, and ready to be a loved member of your family.
