About: Hello I am in need of a very good home for my cat Kevin. He is 4 years old and extremely sweet and quiet. He is in need of a quiet home, preferably without children or one with an elderly caregiver or a single person or couple. I got Kevin last year from the local animal shelter after his previous owners abused and abandoned him. I took him in not knowing he would be so afraid of my children and hide most days. I also already had a female cat who is 4 years old and they've had a rocky relationship that has increased his anxiety. He deserves to have a home where he isn't afraid of another cat and is able to bond with his owner in a quiet and loving environment. I love Kevin very much but I feel my home may not be the best environment for him. He has a very sweet disposition and is not at all aggressive, nor did he bite or scratch. He's had it pretty rough and I really want him to go into a home where there aren't any dogs or any animals that will heighten his anxiety. He's not very playful, I think his early experiences with his previous owners may have caused some cognitive issues so sometimes he seems a little behind in his development. If someone is looking for a single cat, that's quiet and sweet, then Kevin would be prefect. It may take some patience in the beginning because he has been trough a lot and it takes time for him to warm up, but he will. He needs extra care and compassion. I didn't want to place him back in the shelter because I don't want to subject him to that cage again and loneliness. I'd prefer to find a loving home for him and make sure he's in loving hands.
