About: Our family loves cats, and hope to spread cat joy. We both are cat nerds. We can answer your kat kwestions! We have the occasional litter to continue our lineage of wonderful cats, and we post for friends. The cats and kittens posted receive vet checks, vaccinations, and regular deworming, have no fleas, are usually indoor animals, and are handled and trained. We do not do pediatric neutering as this alters the animals' bone growth and usually results in a timid docile personality, though occassionally we will post an animal that has received this treatment needing a home. If we have raised the animal, they get outdoor experience in a well-protected yard, and that will help you reunite with your pet if your pet escapes accidentally. If you have a similar situation to ours where general rodent control is needed, our cats are the traditional American farm cat, now known as domestic shorthairs, that are hardy, athletic, high-energy animals not so suited for indoor living until they become older and retired. For outdoor animals you will need to give the matured seasoned cat (not vulnerable kittens) a protected safe yard and a warm, dry indoor space to hang out in when not on rodent patrol. A very well fenced yard, and a kennel with a one way cat door set on 'in only', and calling them in for the evening and feeding is recommended. For pets, we recommend crate and harness training to make life more interesting for you and your pet, and strongly recommend getting two if you need to leave them alone for long periods. Our animals are well-socialized with their fellow cats, and we usually don't home them until they are 3 to 6 months of age, resulting in a happy, healthy cat for you and your family, and making it easier for you to integrate the new cat if you have existing cats. Our cats do not have experience with dogs but could be trained with patience. We are not a for-profit business, and only do informal, polite, fun, and honest interactions. We don't do formal, high stakes, adversarial, deceptive interactions. We usually charge something for the animal's protection and to get back our cost outlay to the vet. Open for negotiating. Simple cash compensation. Please leave a phone number with your inquiry to expedite interaction.
