Looking for a loving a caring couple or older person with no young children or pets for our little lady, Vera.
We had always planned on keeping her, so it breaks our hearts to have her listed now. Unfortunately, she has become rather annoyed with two of her sons that we have kept from her first and only litter. We were hoping that she would adjust, but she has stood her ground and wants to be along. My husband and I feel that she is more of herself when she is the one getting all of the attention and she is in a calm environment. Preferably we are trying to find a person or couple without young children.
She is a little petite for her breed, and we are in the process of getting her fixed.
We have a request that her official name Stonehouse Vera Of Serenity Valley and her called by name of "Vera" stays the same since she already knows her name and it will give her some continuity in this potentially difficult transition. It may take a little while to get her to warm up to you and the new environment.
She really is a lovely companion! She loves to be in the same room as you, though not right in your face which is nice. She greets you when you come home and talks to you occasionally throughout the day. Her ever lovling gaze is always on you as she enjoys her tall cat tree or window perches, waching you eat dinner and wind down in the evenings.
She loves playing with her toys, especially the wands that you can wave about. We have also taught her how to play fetch with the fake mice, which she did rather expertly before her kittens.
If you think you are a potential fit to be her forever human, please give us a call and we can discuss it further.
We are very particular in whom we allow to buy her so please do not be put off, we just want to ensure that she will be happy and comfortable where she ends up. Unfortunatly she started off life at the breeders house and she was completely terrified of humans. With the help of myself and my husband, we have helped her come a long way!
