*Update: 1 Female Seal silver shaded Burmilla kitten still available*
The Burmilla breed started in the 1980's by an English breeder who accidentally ended up with a litter, from the mating of his Burmese female and male Persian. Due to the amazing personalities of these kittens that had the best trait of the Burmese and Persian (much more Burmese in my opinion) and their incredible beauty and ability to acquire different fur coats from Long haired to short haired and in between to solid colors of the Burmese to shades of the Persian and a variety of patterns, the breeder decided to continue their 18 generations required by the registries in order to produce a new breed. Today, the Burmilla can still breed with his ancestor, the Burmese and be considered a Burmilla. There are few Burmilla breeders in the USA that have pure Burmillas. They tend to have the facial features of the Burmese, the curiosity and affectionate personality of the Burmese but usually have less muscular bodies than the Burmese.
OUR LITTER: This litter is from a seal shaded silver burmilla mother from Finland, originally and a Long haired seal shaded silver Burmilla dad from the US. Amazingly, we ended up with two light chocolate shaded silver kittens and one seal shaded silver kitten. They are truly amazing kittens. They're very playful, sleep by our chest and in our arms every night, are best friends with each other, very curious, and so affectionate. Trust me, if I could, I'd keep them all.
