All of my kittens are treated for worms, ear mites, fleas, as well as being litter trained as well as a 2 week health guarantee to allow you time to have my kitten checked by your vet to assure health. I also include a copy of a genetics and health report on the mother from Basepaws showing the genetics of my kittens since they are a hybrid and while I am working on having them registered it is a long process and I am extremely pleased with the breading I have done to realize my dream of a perfect blend of wildcat and domestic kitties. My kittens are genetically 40% Rag doll and the rest of their DNA consisting of eastern exotic and wildcat. They even have a touch of Peter bald in them. The health report indicates that they have no chronic inherited health issues.
I do post my kittens at a young age because of the high demand I have had for them but I prefer to keep them in my care until age 3 months and at that time I give them the 6-way feline shot and start them on a monthly flea treatment. I do not handle the feline leukemia series of shots. That is a personal choice for their new caregivers or companions.
Possum Trot is a very special girl, she is a rarity for me because she is going to stay quite small. Every now and then (it's only happened twice since I started breeding in 2008) I have a kitten that stays the size of a young kitten (under 5lbs.)forever and Possum Trot at 8 weeks is smaller than my new litters of 4 weeks and younger..Possum Trot is not one of my blue-eyed bobtails but she is one of the original colors I started with when I originally bred what I thought was a bobcat mix with a very interesting blue-eyed barn cat from West Virginia. According to the Basepaws genetics Bobcat was more than likely part mountain lion with a splash of cheetah. She has the camo brown mix that is often seen in hybrid mixes she lhas the build of a wildcat with absolutely no tail(rumpie) but she won't get bigger than 4lbs .She kind of reminds me of a little bull dog when she walks and her hair took a lot of the eastern exotic gene. It feels like plush, it's very short and that will keep the shedding down.
She needs to be the baby. If you are looking for a snuggle buddy or a shoulder angel , she loves to be close and snack( right now it's milk and meat) , hang with her person and basically being a princess. She gets the royal treatment from us . She's the size of her 2 week old cousin so of course we treat her special. You just can't help it!!!
