Honestly, Troi is absolutely fantastic and it kills me to list him. I adore this cat and it is going to be so hard to let him go. I found Troi when I was going through a rough time. He came with me and my dog when we moved into an apartment alone, he spent every moment by my side during the transition, he kept my dog (who was used to a backyard and other dog friends) company while I was gone. He did so much for me. It was just the three of us for a while and then we ended up taking in a cat (Dom) that the owner never reclaimed. Troi and Dom became best friends. Troi taught Dom how to groom himself properly, he watched over him, and cuddled with him any time he was near. He and my dog will spend time grooming each other and playing which is funny to see considering Troi is 14 lbs versus my big 85 lbs dog. That being said, he’s gotten along well with every cat I’ve introduced him too. He gets along famously with my dog and tolerates others as long as they don’t bother him (he can get a little spunky at that point). He loves laundry day because he loves to lay under the foam patting on top my mattress when my sheets are off or a warm blanket on my bed. He always sleeps near my right side, against my legs, or on my chest. He’s so gentle, so quiet, and so finicky about being clean. He loves to rub against my legs and follows me around. He is truly terrible in the car but it’s only because he becomes nervous with change like when he’s meeting new people. He just needs time to warm up. He is great at the vet and he has never scratched me even when he was scared. He even lets me cut his nails. He is precious and I hope there is someone out there that can give him the home he deserves.
