When I adopted Pilly from the Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge in 2011, I thought I would be her forever mommy. However, 9 years later, I fell in love with my fiancee who is allergic to cats. We tried having him around Pilly, but he just can't handle it, especially with the long fur. I am heartbroken to have to find a new how home for her, but I am hopeful that I can find someone to love her just as much as I do. Pilly is a gray, white, and orange long-haired tabby with playful green eyes and tufts of hair on the tips of her ears that make her look part Maine Coon or Norwegian forest cat. She is as sweet as can be and all she wants is to laze on your lap for hours on end. She follows me around and sleeps next to me every night. No matter how much I toss and turn she stays curled up right by my side. She is wary of younger children but she has never bitten or scratched anyone, including my 5-year-old son who could be a bit grabby when he was a toddler. Everyone who has met Pilly over the years have oozed about how darn cute/beautiful/sweet she is. Anyone would be lucky to have her, without a doubt.
