Eloise "Mama" and Romeo "Boy Cat" are a mother and son duo who are practically identical. They appear to have a bit of Russian Blue coloring but are not purebred blues. They don't love to be picked up, but they do love daily pets, snuggles with humans and each other. Mama was rescued 15 years ago when she was newly pregnant with a litter of 5 kittens and not even a year old, herself (surprise!) She had her litter, and all the adorable, healthy kittens were placed in new homes, except Romeo ("Boy Cat") who we kept, and he is Mama's "mini-me." They are active and interested in everything around them (except the vacuum cleaner! "Byeeee!") Mama always welcomes all visitors, and Boy Cat usually hides for a bit until he's ready to come say hi. Both love to come snuggle on your lap, in bed, or next to you on the couch for some pets. I don't think they are a "hypoallergenic" breed, but several friends who are usually allergic to cats have commented that these cats don't bother their allergies. They are spayed/neutered INDOOR cats who do not have front claws. They prefer sensitive stomach/senior-cat food and would enjoy a calmer home in their older age, without little kids or dogs (hence our need to re-home them). They don't love to share a litter box and tend to do better with multiple boxes. These cats may be a bit older, but they have been well cared for and have lots of love left to give! We really just want to give them a better home!
