One covered liter box, a bag of preferred treats, a selection of a few preferred toys, and a few days worth of current cat food.
My dear cat, Jayne, is in need of a new home. A little over a year ago I moved into a house with a few roommates. Unfortunately, this has become a stressful living situation for Jayne to be living with 4 adults - and counting. (A new roommate will be moving in at some point). I have tried to manage his anxiety and stress, and stress induced problems for quite some time, but he has not improved. At this point, the kindest thing I can do for him is find him a better living situation.
Jayne is a bit shy with new people, but he is a very loving cat. He loves to curl up, and both give and receive a ton of affection. He is generally a low-key cat, preferring quiet lazy days - but he loves to play with toys that roll across the floor or chase after string. Jayne is very fond of bird watching and warm sunshine. He is harness trained, and loves to relax in the yard with someone. His absolute favorite is playing in the snow!
Jayne would make an excellent companion for someone who could use a reliable cuddler in their home. He would do well with adults of any age, and he has never had a problem getting along with other cats.
He does not do well with busy, or noisy households, and he is terrified of dogs.
Please contact me if you have any questions, and please share if you know anyone who might be interested in giving Jayne a loving home.
