Chausie is a jungle hybrid cat, first recognized by TICA in 1995. The jungle cats come from Egypt thousands of years ago. These are the cats the Egyptians worshiped and even mummified after death. These cats deserved to be worshiped, they named themselves. The Egyptian word for cat is Mau - think about the sound a cat makes! This litter is very unique with 3 snow colors - including blue eyes that they have kept. We have 2 females snows left. We have one tabby colored and one ticked - both female.
