I adopted Maze 5 years ago when he was a 4 month old kitten. He would have been taken to a shelter had I not rescued him. I’ve always loved cats and I felt the connection right away as soon as I met him. This tiny little kitten walked right up to me and rested his head on my knee and my heart nearly melted. He is now big boy of 17 pounds, some fat, but he is just truly a large cat. He loves to roam around in the backyard; you'll find him sunning himself often. Very independent cat as he enjoys spending a lot time on his own outside, but is also very affectionate and loves to cuddle. He will get right in your face and sit on your chest so get ready for all the furry love! He definitely needs access to a backyard or some sort of outdoor area as he would not be happy or do well as a full time indoor cat. I currently live in the Sunset, so I have to make sure to keep him inside at night time because raccoons are rampant here. But, even the rare nights that he is outside, he is very street savy and knows to stay away from raccoons; so, if raccoons are an issue where you live as well, just make sure to keep him inside most nights and he will be ok. He is liter box trained, but he hasn’t used one in years because he prefers to go outside, so he is extremely low maintenance as well. I’ve always had roommates who have cats and dogs so he is fully able to coexist with other animals. I recently introduced him to kids and he did amazingly. It truly disheartens me that I cannot take him where I am moving. Also, he is microchipped so I can get all that information to you once requested.
OTHER TRAITS: I always like to describe him as being part cat, part dog, and part human. He is a chatty boy. I have full on conversations with him (I know that sounds crazy, but you'll see what I'm talking about if you meet him). If you ask him a question or make a comment he responds most of the time, it cracks me up on a daily basis; and he has so many different meows, I swear that I hear him saying "MOM" sometimes lol. If he trusts you he will roll over for a belly rub hence the "part dog" bit. And he also likes eating Goldfish (the cheese snack, not a live goldfish haha) hence the "part human" bit. You'll never have a dull moment with this chatty cuddle bug :)
