These kittens will be raised naturally and indoors - mama's care and human love. Any future medical treatments will be the choice of the adoptive family, to be performed by the kittens' lifelong vet.
Lightning is one of our rescue cats who learned, at the age of 2, how to be an indoor cat after having lived only in barns. She is very intelligent, and has had such wonderful babies (only 2-3 per time) that we have chosen not to spay her. We have kept 4 kittens from 3 different litters simply because of their outstanding personalities - and have had similar reactions from the adoptive families of her kittens. -------- This, her newest litter, is too tiny to be accurately sexed yet - though preliminary results have a grey tiger being a girl, the black tiger is definitely a boy, and the black baby could go either way. Fur length is promising to be a long and luscious Maine Coonish variety! -------------Of the 4 kittens we have kept from Lightning: Russ is a huge, long-haired, tufted Maine Coonish boy with the sweetest gentle nature; PolyAnna is an average-size short-haired polydactyl grey tiger girl who has a fettish for sitting on feet and sleeping under my daughter's covers. PolyEsther is Anna's littermate - a tiny, sleek solid grey polydactyl who wants to be on shoulders. Olaf is a lythe, athletic (bodytype of an Abyssinian) shorthaired grey tiger boy who is unusually intelligent and highly affectionate. ---------- What will these three babies be?-------- There is a jet-black baby photographed against a green shirt. There is a black tiger with white eye-liner and a promising pattern of white/grey stripes in the black fur. There is also one grey tiger who appears in photos with both of the dark babies.
