I’m in the process of moving and getting married and my fiancé is allergic to my cat so I’m unable to move him with me. This has been a very hard and heartbreaking decision. I’ve had my baby since he was 6 weeks old; he will be 13 by the end of June. His name is Peanut. I had a difficult time naming him when I first brought him home but after a few weeks I noticed that he’d sleep with his head and tail curled in making him look like a Peanut, his beautiful light orange color helped ;). He’s an amazing cat and very friendly. He’s very affectionate and loves being pet and just being around people (he’s never been around kids so he does not do well with kids because he thinks he’s being attacked). He’s a true companion. Peanut greets me at the door when I come home and wants me to do nothing but sit and let him curl up in my lap and pet him. He is neutered and still has his claws. He is in good health although you can tell his age is catching up with him. He’s not as active but still enjoys a spurt of play every so often; swatting and chasing after balls is his favorite! It breaks my heart that I have to find him a new home and am hoping to find someone who is willing to keep in touch and share with me how he’s doing. He’s truly my baby and he deserves an amazing home with affectionate parents who will enjoy his companionship and care for him.
